Character Bazaar
The Character Bazaar lets players safely sell complete characters to other accounts using coins. Auctions, bids, refunds, payments and character transfers are handled by the website.
Browse active character auctions
How it works
- The seller selects an eligible character from the Account page.
- The seller chooses a minimum bid, an optional Instant Buy price and the auction duration.
- While the auction is active, other players can inspect the character and place bids.
- When the auction ends, the highest bidder receives the character and the seller receives the winning bid minus the 5% commission.
- If nobody bids, the auction is cancelled automatically, the character remains on the seller's account and the listing fee is refunded.
An Instant Buy completes the purchase immediately instead of waiting for the auction to end.
Browsing the Bazaar
The auction list can be filtered by:
- Vocation
- Level range
- Bid range
- Skill and skill range, including Magic Level
- World, when more than one game world is available
Open an auction to review the character before bidding. The detail page shows:
- Level, vocation, world, sex and bank balance
- All combat skills, Magic Level and Fishing
- Quest progress
- Items from the inventory, depot, inbox and store inbox
- Outfits and addons available for the character's current sex
- Current bid, minimum bid, optional Instant Buy price and remaining time
You can also add an auction to My Favorites. Auctions on which you have placed a bid appear under My Bids.
Selling a character
Go to the Account page, find the character and select Create Auction.
Requirements
A character can be listed only when all of the following conditions are met:
Important: An auctioned character is unavailable in the game client while its auction is active. Choose a duration during which you will not need to play that character.
Auction settings
Creating an auction costs 50 VC. This listing fee is recorded in Store History and is refunded only if the auction reaches the end of its duration without receiving any bids. An automatic refund is also recorded in Store History. The fee is not refunded after a successful sale or when the seller manually cancels the auction.
Every successful sale has a 5% commission, rounded down to a whole VC and deducted from the seller's payout. For example, a character sold for 99 VC pays a 4 VC commission, so the seller receives 95 VC. The minimum bid is 20 VC so every successful auction sale produces at least a 1 VC commission. The seller's net payout and the buyer's final purchase price are recorded in Store History under the sold character's name.
Review the settings and costs carefully before confirming the listing.
Placing a bid
You must be logged in and have enough coins on your account to place a bid. You cannot bid on your own auction.
- Enter an amount equal to or higher than the minimum shown on the auction page.
- Confirm the bid.
- The bid amount is reserved from your account immediately.
- If another player outbids you, your reserved coins are refunded automatically and you receive an email notification.
- If you increase your own leading bid, only the difference is charged.
Every new bid must be higher than the current bid. Concurrent bids are checked atomically; if the auction changes while your request is being processed, submit the bid again using the new minimum.
Instant Buy
When an auction has an Instant Buy price, another player can purchase the character immediately.
- The buyer pays the full Instant Buy price.
- Any current highest bidder is refunded automatically.
- The seller receives the Instant Buy price minus the 5% commission, rounded down.
- The character is transferred to the buyer's account immediately.
- Instant Buy purchases are final.
You cannot use Instant Buy on your own auction.
Cancelling an auction
The seller can cancel an active auction from the Account page only while it has no bids. As soon as the first valid bid is placed, the auction can no longer be cancelled. A manual cancellation does not refund the 50 VC listing fee.
When an auction ends
After the timer reaches zero, an auction with bids appears in the Bazaar history as Processing until the transfer and payments are settled. Your own participation also shows Processing in My Bids during this short period. Once settlement finishes, the winner receives an email and the final Won or Lost result becomes visible.
Safety notes
- Verify the character's skills, quests, items and outfits before bidding.
- Make sure you are bidding on the correct character and world.
- Keep enough coins available before placing a bid or using Instant Buy.
- Do not list a character you intend to play during the auction period.
- Never rely on an auction being cancellable after it has received a bid.
